About the workshop leader
Nemanja Podraščić is a visual anthropologist and photographer from Belgrade. Inspired by documentary practice, he has found his personal expression through themes ranging from everyday, ordinary moments that often go unnoticed to universal questions of memory, reality, meaning and transience.
He is currently working on several long-term projects exploring the rural landscapes and village cemeteries of Vojvodina. Alongside photography, he also works with video, approaching the same themes through a different narrative.
